Drift & coherence

Drift measures how far a repository has moved from its intended specification and standards; coherence is the inverse — how well code, specs, and acceptance criteria still line up. Both are scored continuously, so a repo sliding out of alignment shows up as a trend, not a surprise at audit time.

Repository health

Each repository gets a health score broken into dimensions — compliance, drift, CI/CD, documentation, infrastructure, observability, security, freshness, and AI-readiness. The breakdown tells you why a score is what it is, and where the cheapest improvement is.

Effectiveness

RepoSentry tracks how effective the governance itself is — per repository and over time, including CI/CD failure rates and the feedback loop between checks and outcomes. This is how you tell a control that's helping from one that's just noise.
